She has well-established links with Orthopaedic and Sports and Exercise Consultants to refer on for further opinion if required.
Pre and Post surgery
Prehabilitation focuses on strengthening your body and optimising your physical readiness for surgery. Michaela’s expertise in post operative rehabilitation allows her to ensure you are fully prepared for the process and have an understanding of what to expect.
Post surgery, Michaela will support your full recovery to ensure you restore full mobility, strength, and return to your goals.
Pilates
Pilates is a movement method designed to help you feel strong, balanced, and connected in your body. It focuses on improving posture, core stability, flexibility, and body awareness, helping you move with greater ease and efficiency in everyday life.
Michaela tailors her practice to support injury prevention, rehabilitation, and enhanced performance for athletes, runners, and active individuals. Whether you’re new to Pilates or have years of experience, Michaela works with all levels of ability.
Runners MOT
As a keen runner, Michaela understands the common niggles that can arise. These may include hip and knee pain, tendinopathies or even bony stress-related injuries. A comprehensive assessment considers your training and lifestyle as a whole, including recovery, sleep, nutrition, and daily habits. Michaela uses in-depth muscle strength and endurance testing to identify key areas to target with rehab. This reduces the risk of injury during training and enhances performance.
Sports Massage
When delivered by a Physiotherapist, massage can be beneficial in enhancing recovery following exercise and improving circulation. Hands-on expertise combined with a deep understanding of anatomy allows it to be tailored to you.
Strong and Steady programme
A comprehensive physiotherapy assessment to identify mobility limitations or muscle imbalances that may affect balance and increase the risk of falls with ageing. Michaela will create a bespoke and progressive exercise programme to optimise your bone and muscle health aiming to keep you as active and confident as possible. She can provide this service in the comfort of your own home or in clinic.
